Staying at this homestay was an incredible experience, with a warm and welcoming family who made me feel right at home. The rooms were modern, clean, and comfortable, and the beautiful garden provided a perfect place to relax. The family's knowledge and enthusiasm for their country and culture made for fascinating conversations. The breakfast and dinner were delicious and gave me a taste of authentic Sri Lankan cuisine. The location was convenient for exploring nearby attractions, and the family even helped arrange transportation. a fantastic stay packed with positive surprises!

I had a wonderful stay at Camellia Home Stay in Sigiriya. the family was incredibly friendly and gave us a warm welcome, even though we accidentally booked the previous day. the budget room was newly painted and very clean, with a comfortable bed. the highlight was the delicious breakfast, with a wide variety of dishes that were simply divine. the premises were peaceful, with a nice terrace and garden where you could relax in a hammock. the family was also exceptionally helpful in providing practical advice, especially on public bus connections. it was a quiet and relaxed place to stay, perfect for a getaway. Cons: No issues to mention here.

Nice garden and terrace, but I had to bother the front desk multiple times because of the Wi-Fi. They offer bicycle and car rental, but I preferred to wait for someone to bring a bike for 1.5 hours. Oh, and the breakfast was great, except for the lack of milk and eggs!
Who needs an evening meal when you can wait for months for the owners to build a restaurant? So convenient!

The room was amazing! It had a fully equipped private bathroom with a refreshing shower and complimentary toiletries. The triple room had a private entrance, a cozy seating area, and even soundproofing. As a traveler who values comfort and privacy, this room was perfect for me.
That the triple room came with a toaster. I personally didn't need one during my stay, but I understand that others might find it useful.

The water pressure in the bathroom was rather weak. Additionally, the room tended to get quite warm in the evening, as there was no AC and the fan wasn't enough to cool it down.
